Description
Bamboo Kuripe • Kaya Keximãwã
Kaya Kuripe is another unique creation, beautifully handcrafted with a chameleon motif. In native Pano language, the chameleon is called Kaya kaximãwã. This piece is made from bamboo and resin.
As each item is handmade, slight variations may occur from batch to batch.
This particular model was crafted by the skilled artisans at the Tete Pawã Arts and Crafts Studio, located deep in the upper Juruá region of Marechal Thaumaturgo, in the heart of the Amazon. The only way to reach them is by a two-day boat trip or a small four-seater plane.
