How to Use Your Kuripe

1. Find your space – Choose a peaceful, spiritual place where you feel grounded.

2. Set your intention – Reflect on your purpose: healing, guidance, or clarity.

3. Prepare the hapé – A pea-sized amount is enough. Place it in the nose end of the pipe.

4. Load the Kuripe – Tap the curved V-point gently to settle the snuff.

5. Apply – Put one end in your mouth, the other in one nostril. Lean forward, close your eyes, and blow firmly.

6. Balance – Repeat on the other side to bring balance.

7. Cleanse – Release any physical reactions; they may be part of your emotional or spiritual release.

Meet the Artisan: Thalles de Aguiar

Thalles is a master woodworker deeply connected to the Santo Daime tradition. He began his journey with Ayahuasca at 13 and later discovered hapé, which he describes as a powerful spiritual tool for cleansing and grounding.

Alongside his spiritual path, Thalles developed a passion for crafting wood—starting with guitars and evolving into sacred tools like Kuripes. His work blends nature, sacred symbols, and fine craftsmanship.
