Bamboo Tepi • Tete Pawã
Our practical and well-crafted tepi, the basic bamboo model, features a three-step scaling from the mouthpiece to the end, ensuring a clean and powerful blow.
This tepi is made from bamboo and resin, adorned with seeds and stones, and wrapped with wax string around the middle. The ends are decorated with indigenous motifs through pyrography.
As a handcrafted product, slight variations may occur from batch to batch.
This model is crafted by our handicrafts experts at the Tete Pawã arts and crafts studio, located in the upper Juruá region of Marechal Thaumaturgo municipality, deep in the Amazon. Reaching the studio requires a two-day boat journey or a four-seater airplane trip. Since 2014, Tete Pawã has been a close partner, consistently delivering state-of-the-art handicrafts and excellent Kuntanawa Hapés.
